NEW UK DISTRIBUTOR APPOINTED
Quested Monitoring Systems announces the appointment of Affinity Audio Ltd. as its new UK distributor. Affinity Audio specialises in the distribution of hi-end audio products to the studio sector, including AEA ribbon mics and pre-amps; AMT MI mic systems; Demeter, Mutec digital master clocks; Microtech Gefell studio condenser mics (dealer) and is proud to add Quested monitors to its product portfolio. Terry Finn, founder of Affinity Audio, explains: ‘Having niche, good quality non-conflicting products to build on, is what I aim for when looking to take on new lines and the opportunity to have Quested on board fulfills that requirement.’ He continues: ‘I have known Roger Quested for many years, from his engineering days at DJM, through the early days of starting to build his own monitors and the development of his soft dome mid-range. Throughout I have maintained a keen interest in what Roger is doing on both a personal and professional level. I have always liked the musical, non-fatiguing sound of Quested monitors when auditioned in a variety of studios around the UK and Europe, and I’ve never heard a bad remark about the speakers, from either owners or users of the systems.’ In conclusion Finn comments: ‘With the new speaker cabinet designs, new models on the way and reorganisation of the company in place, now’s a very good time to get more people in front of Quested monitors!
