QUESTED ANNOUNCES NEW US DISTRIBUTOR
Quested Monitoring Systems Ltd. has appointed Studio Logic Sound as the distributor for the United States. CEO of Studio Logic Sound, George Hajioannou, is a twenty-five year veteran of the pro sound industry with experience designing, consulting for and equipping major studios and recording facilities on the East Coast. Based in Riegelsville, Pennsylvania, Studio Logic Sound was started in 1992 with its main focus on Pro Tools and Digidesign products. Having mastered the digital recording and editing process, George took his expertise around the country to where help was needed to install and integrate these then new systems. Gradually he began selling some of the other products that he himself enjoyed using and at the same time found that he was working with a cross-section of different producers and engineers, including Roger Quested. Since those early days Studio Logic Sound has been involved in a wide variety of studio projects from the design stage through to realisation of the finished studio and George’s long experience has seen his involvement with everything from small home studios and writing rooms to major facilities throughout the US. ‘What excites me’, states Hajioannou, ‘is to work with and focus on products that I can trust to solve the major audio problems faced by studio owners rather than those that are seen as the ‘hot’ products of the day.’ Studio Logic Sound is involved with an exciting range of projects, products and programs all designed to support the work of the engineer, producer and studio owner. ‘I have used and worked with Quested monitors for many years and I’m truly excited about having the opportunity to represent the brand in the US.’ continues George, and Quested’s M.D., Ian McCarthy agrees: ‘I am delighted that George, who has been such a good ambassador for Quested over the years, is now distributing our monitors in the US.
