Mike Oldfield Doubles Up
In the middle of what he has described to Quested as "the project of a lifetime", musician and composer Mike Oldfield has added a Quested twin-Subwoofer system to the V3110 monitoring he bought last year. Direct from his Caribbean studio, the creator of Tubular Bells told us "The addition of the SBC 800 plus the two X12s to my V3110 system has transformed my monitoring."
The SBC800 provides full crossover control and Bass Management, plus 800 watts of clean Quested drive, so even though the V3110s have a smooth frequency response to 30Hz, some of the low frequency samples in Mike's arsenal of sounds needed even greater bass extension: adding two of our new X12 Subs was a logical step.
"It is now comparable to a large system and I never have to overdrive the system. It's invisible and a permanent part of my working life now. I really really am pleased. Thanks Quested! "
