Mid Field Monitoring
Mid Field Monitors are often used in rooms where it is impractical to install soffit-mounted, i.e. built-in, monitors but where higher sound pressure level is required than is possible with Near-Field monitors
This is increasingly the case when multi-channel systems are needed in rooms that were originally designed for stereo. As they are free standing, Mid-Fields are popular with mastering and post-production facilities; they are the monitor most compatible with a high quality end user Hi-Fi.

Mike Oldfield Doubles Up
