The advantages being faster bass transients, less distortion, and an extended low frequency response. Manfred Mann took delivery of the first system in the early eighties. The Q412 is designed to be soffit mounted.

The monitors are supplied with a separate dedicated electronics package, 19” rack mounting power amplifiers and electronic crossover / loudspeaker management system.
