Based on one of our most established soffit-mounted system, the Q212FS has been modified for use in
Color
ldeally suited to control rooms between 15 and 30m2 this system is capable of delivering a response of +-2 dB 22 Hz to 16 kHz (room dependant) with a maximum SPL of 129 dB.
Most commonly deployed as main monitors in a stereo configuration the Q212Fs can also be configured as parts of a multi-channel immersive system in larger rooms. The system's four-way design incorporates soft dome mid and soft dome high frequency units. The LF and sub bass drivers benefit from the radial chassis’ ability to reduce thermal compression when operating at high SPLs.
Two remote powered amplifcation platforms are available. As standard the Q212FS comes with a Class D platform using and APD2000-4 and an APS1000-4. An alternative Class AB option can be provided on request using our A1550-2 and AP950-2 with SM748 speaker management system. Both platforms allow for bespoke tuning of the system once installed into the studio.
