These extraordinary Quested Subwoofers are revered by Film Production professionals worldwide, delivering everything from exquisite delicacy to the extreme explosive power of modern film soundtracks. They have been designed hand-in-hand with our SBC800 powerhouse amplifier, but can easily work with our stand-alone amplifiers too. Custom 12" and 15" drive units, both with peak power handling of 2,000W, 4" voice coils and 3.5 kg magnet assemblies, deliver ground - shaking impact with incredible precision and accuracy all the way down to 20Hz. The cage-style cabinets are super-rigid - the SB12 using 25mm MDF, and the SB15 30mm plywood - to handle the incredible impulse energy of these superlative drive units. Our inteligent cabinet design minimises the size of the SB12 and SB1 5 to help discrete placement in all environments where the finest possible bass performance is required. We can supply twin 18" Subs too (we did five for one system!, ) or lowprofile versions for placement underneath screens, so please speak to us about just how much LF you want to deliver!
