Master Rock Studios, located in Kilburn, London, was originally a century-old cinema before being transformed into a recording studio by Steve Flood and Stuart Colman in 1986. It was equipped with some of the most iconic audio gear of its time, including one of only two Focusrite Forte consoles ever built—designed by audio legend Rupert Neve—as well as a custom Quested monitor system personally commissioned by Mr. Roger Quested himself.
The studio was acoustically designed by renowned studio architect Ken Shearer, delivering a bright and transparent sound that quickly gained favor among top musicians. Over the years, it became a creative home for legendary artists such as Elton John, U2, Eric Clapton, Oasis, and Suede.
Master Rock Studios remains a classic landmark in recording history, blending architectural heritage with exceptional sonic performance.
