55TEC is a premier recording studio based in Beijing, China, specializing in music recording, mixing, and mastering. Since its establishment, 55TEC has earned a reputation for its world-class acoustic environment and top-tier equipment, attracting both domestic and international artists, including Lang Lang, Jonathan Lee, Leehom Wang, and Leah Dou.
Recognized as one of China's leading high-end studios, 55TEC has also received significant international acclaim. In 2017, it was named one of the “Class of 2017: World’s Top Studios” by Mix magazine. That same year, Li You, the studio’s founder, became the first and only Chinese recording and mixing engineer to appear on the cover of Mix. Additionally, 55TEC was nominated for Best Recording Studio at the 33rd NAMM TEC Awards, one of the highest honors in the global audio industry.
The studio was designed by the original team from renowned acoustic design firm WSDG (Walters-Storyk Design Group), with a design budget reaching hundreds of thousands of US dollars. Many prominent artists, including Zhou Shen, have recorded their music here.
