At Audio Expo Seoul 2025, Fullrange, the organiser of the event, visited the booth where Quested speakers were on display and spoke with Younghwa Cho of MVM Distribution about the brand and its approach to monitoring.
The Quested display at the show featured a broad selection of models, including the V2104, V2108, VQ3110, VH3208, AP1550-2, SBC250, SB10R, and SB8, offering visitors a chance to see a wide range of Quested monitoring systems presented together in one space.

During the conversation, Cho introduced Quested as a long-established British loudspeaker manufacturer founded by Roger Quested over four decades ago. While the brand may still be less familiar to some audiences in Korea, Quested has earned the trust of artists, engineers and studios around the world through its longstanding commitment to precision, balance and accurate monitoring.

Among the names associated with Quested are Hans Zimmer, Serban Ghenea and Trevor Horn, reflecting the brand's place within professional music and audio production for many years.

Below is an excerpt from the conversation.

The VQ3110, meanwhile, is a self-powered active model. As the name suggests, the"3"refers to the 3-way design, while the model is fitted with a single 10-inch driver.
As mentioned earlier, more listeners today are taking an interest in monitor loudspeakers that originated in studio environments, while studios themselves are increasingly working with hi-fi and high-end loudspeakers developed for listening purposes. The distinction between these two categories appears to be becoming less defined.
Quested's aim, like that of many respected monitor manufacturers, is to deliver precision, accuracy and detail — to allow the listener to hear the source as it is. These are not loudspeakers voiced to emphasise a particular frequency range. If one were to point to a possible limitation, some may find them less overtly flattering at first listen. Yet that commitment to accurate reproduction remains central to their value.
